Family orientated resort located in south-west Queensland
Located just off of the Gold Coast Highway, close to the centre of Surfers Paradise, the Paradise Resort Gold Coast is an ideal location for families travelling to the southern Queensland in search of fun and excitement.
Rooms at this family-friendly establishment come in a number of formats. Resort Rooms offer standard accommodation for two adults and two children. Resort Family Rooms have a little extra space and are able to cater for two adults and three children. Junior Bunkhouse Rooms offer 2+2 accommodation with themed bunk-beds whilst King Bunkhouse Rooms feature an additional childs place. For larger groups, interconnecting rooms are suitable.
All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning and a balcony. TV, hairdryer, iron, and tea and coffee making facilities are all included as standard, whilst some rooms are equipped with a Sony PlayStation 2, microwave, and toaster. Game and DVD hire is offered complimentary to certain rooms.
Guests can dine at two individual eateries. The first, Bistro Zagames serves a continental breakfast and an a la carte evening menu. The second, the Poolside Caf and Bar offers a la carte or take away options throughout the day.
Many of the hotels features are also directed at families, with many child friendly activities on offer. The hotel swimming pool provides a fun setting for swimming and larking. It is also soon to include the largest resort aqua play water park in the Southern Hemisphere. Waterslides are just the beginning.
Amongst the activities on offer for children at the Paradise Resort Gold Coast are kite flying, sporting competitions, pool activities, arts and crafts, wacky darts, and an adventure playground. Experiences resort representatives oversee all organised activities. A vertical climbing wall is a popular attraction. The hotel also offers a kids club where parents can safely leave children for an hour or two whilst they explore the delights of Surfers Paradise.
Not everything within the resort is aimed at children. Adult guests can enjoy the likes of live poolside music, cocktail making, sports nights, casino nights, and of course dining in the restaurant or the bar. Those without children will find that the city has more than enough to keep them occupied.
Away from the resort, families and other travellers alike can enjoy the coast with its sandy beaches and seemingly endless water sports options. Of course, heading to Surfers Paradise without having a go at surfing wouldnt be right now, would it?
The exciting landscapes west of the city, formed of mountain foothills, parks, preservation sites, and the likes are ideal for getting in touch with nature, or for enjoying a guided tour away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast.
Likewise, boat trips from the city harbour. Whether whale-watching, deep sea fishing, or just heading out to see the beautiful coastline from afar, the Ocean offers a fantastic afternoon or days entertainment.
