New South Wales resort located amidst the Great Lakes
Located 300 kilometres north of Sydney in the Great Lakes district of New South Wales, the Pacific Palms Resort offers guests comfortable and affordable lodgings with easy access to many of the regions favourite attractions.
Found in Elizabeth Beach, flanked by the Tasman Sea and Wallis Lake, the 3.5-star has a range of recreational features and services. The coast, which includes sandy beaches as well scenic coves, is an ideal location for those that enjoy a gentle stroll or a sunbathing session. Its also a popular destination for joggers, due to its somewhat secluded atmosphere. The sea itself is suitable for the likes of surfing and kayaking.
Tours regularly head into the Tasman Sea for a spot of dolphin and whale watching, which is particularly successful during the later months of the year as these creatures migrate south. Its also a good location for a spot of deep sea fishing. Seals Rock and the Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse are favoured attractions in the region.
The Great Lakes make for an ideal recreational spot. Guided tours are a great way to see the major features, including a vast wildlife, whilst there are also a number of walking/jogging routes that traverse the region.
