Queensland resort on the Sunshine Coast
Located on the corner of Mooloolaba Esplanade, the Landmark Resort Mooloolaba is a conveniently positioned hotel that allows guests quick access to the Queensland towns best attractions.
Approximately 97 kilometres north of the state capital Brisbane, Mooloolaba can be found along the Sunshine Coast. As such it features stunning beaches for guests to enjoy as well as a number of picturesque parks to the west of the settlement.
The Landmark Resort offers a selection of 120 apartments which all offer self-catering facilities. Guests have a range of rooms to choose from but all feature the necessities required for a comfortable and enjoyable stage. As well as kitchen areas equipped with cooking hobs, microwaves and refrigerators, private bathrooms are included as standard as is air-conditioning.
Apartments are equipped with hotel standards such as cable television, hairdryer, and iron, as well as comfortable living areas and a number of bedrooms. Views from the room alternate between city vistas, coastal sights, and the Queensland territories to the west. Many of the rooms are also equipped with a spa bath, perfect for unwinding at the end of a busy day.
It doesnt have to stop with a spa bath either. The Waterfall Day Spa, which is located within the resort, is available to guests and offers a wide range of facilities, treatments and other body-relaxing procedures. Guests can enjoy everything from a calming trip to the sauna to a deep massage delivered with the aim of removing all of those pesky knots.
For something a little less relaxing, why not try out the hotel gymnasium?
For those less inclined to cook for themselves, the Landmark Resort Mooloolaba features a number of restaurants with a wide range of styles, including Italian, Indian, Asian, and, of course, traditional Australian.
The resort also offers access to both the beautiful Mooloolaba beach, the perfect spot for laying back to catch some rays or partaking in a range of activities, and the esplanade.
Along the beach and esplanade guests will find a number of boutiques as well as cafs, restaurants and bars. There are also a number of surf shops for those that fancy riding the waves, as well as instructors ready to teach the uninitiated.
One of the most popular attractions located on the esplanade is UnderWater World, a marine park and oceanarium that also serves as a wildlife sanctuary. Here guests can see a wide range of east coast wildlife, including freshwater crocodiles, dolphins, turtles, and seals. A number of shows are performed for visitors. Those looking for something a little more daring should take a walk through the shark tunnel, an underwater walkway surrounding by a variety of shark species. The ice-enclosed frozen body of a giant squid is also on display.
Guests that elect to venture away from the resort can visit the likes of Beacon Lighthouse Reserve, Mooloolaba River National Park and Eudlo Creek Conservation Park. Each of these offers guests at the Landmark Resort Mooloolaba the opportunity to peruse some stunning scenery rich in flora and wildlife.
