The King Edward Hotel Banff was built in 1904 and is located in the heart of the citys downtown. This is second oldest hotel in Banff today. Over the years since it was built the hotel has been renovated several times in order to keep up with trends and to give the hotel a modern look and feel but not to the point that the historical look and feel has been lost. There are twenty one rooms in the King Edward Hotel Banff. Even though the hotel is located in downtown Banff it is very affordable. When you step outside the hotel you will find everything from shopping, entertainment to fine dining within a two block radius making the hotel very convenient for visitors to the area.

While the King Edward Hotel Banff is smaller than most in the area, each room has all of the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There are six different unit types to choose from when making your reservation. There is a small standard room that has two single beds. This is the most cost effective if you are on a budget. There is a private shower and bathroom in each standard room. You will also find a television, alarm clock and phone in addition to free internet access. If you are looking for something a little larger, you can always reserve a family room or the king room with a sofa bed. In the family room there is a king size bed in addition to two single beds.
