The High Country Inn Banff is surrounded by mountains and beautiful views. This hotel offers guests a luxurious and relaxing place to stay while in town. The hotel itself is only minutes from the downtown core of Banff where guests can spend the day shopping or touring the area. All of the guest rooms are large and spacious making them a great option when travelling with family or large groups of people. There are seventy rooms available at the High Country Inn Banff. When you are booking a room at this hotel you have eight different room types to choose from.
The standard room of the High Country Inn Banff consists of one or two queen size beds. This type of room is located throughout the hotel and is not found on one specific floor. When you book the standard room you will be assured fantastic views Cascade, Sulphur and Tunnel Mountain. Located on the first floor of the hotel you will find the Junior Suites. With this type of room you are not guaranteed a great view of the mountains. While the view is not great the Junior Suite is a great choice when travelling with children as there is a separate sleeping area with twin beds for the kids. These rooms do not have private balconies as they are located on the lower floor.
On the second and third floors you will find the Full Family Suites. The family suites have three beds, one of which is Murphy bed so that it can be folded up to make more space in the room during the day. One of the beds is located in a semi-private room with each room having its own television with cable and on-demand movies. Located on the second and third floors of the hotel you will also find the deluxe suite, executive suite and the honeymoon suite. Each of these suites has a private sleeping and living area in addition to upgrade bathroom features. The honeymoon suite even has its own fireplace and jetted tub. The High Country Inn Banff has one unit on the first floor that is a disabled access suite. This room has been equipped with amenities that give handicapped guests with the ease and comfort they deserve in a hotel room. This unit has one queen size bed and the bathroom has a roll in shower.
Guests of the High Country Inn Banff are not permitted to smoke in their rooms or on the hotel property. Most rooms have been designed to sleep up to four people but extra guests over the age of fifteen will incur a fifteen dollar charge. Playpens and cribs can be placed in the room at no extra cost but if a cot is required there will be a five dollars charge added to the price of the room. If you need to cancel your reservation you will need to do so forty-eight hours in advance as the hotel is very busy and cannot afford to lose a reservation if you do not cancel in time. If you fail to meet the cancellation requirements you will be billed for the room whether you stay there or not.
