Niagara Falls Canada has built into a tourist wonderland of things to see and do around the falls and beyond The city is based around one of the most dazzling features of the natural world. Though the falls are divided between America and Canada, the city on the Canadian side has spectacular views of the famous Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls.
Niagara Falls has become home to a host of attractions, including wax museums, haunted houses, a Believe it or Not Museum, Casinos, theatres and themed restaurants.
The Maid of the Mist
Several boat tours around the falls operate all year, but the Maid of the Mist is still the king (or should we say queen!) of the bunch. Make sure you wear something waterproof as you voyage down to see the Falls up close and personal (with plenty of spray!). The experience is as humbling as it is fun, as you bob beneath the biggest and most powerful waterfall in the world. It simply isn’t enough to see the falls, this is the opportunity to experience their power!
Another popular way to experience the falls is from the air. The Skylon Tower is an entertainment complex that leads to the highest observation deck in the city (775 feet), with breathtaking views of the Falls and the stunning national park beyond.
There are two restaurants at the top of the tower, including the famous revolving dining room that will give you 360 views while you eat. Downstairs you will find an arcade, souvenir shops, a food court and a 4D theatre, so there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained!
